Agriturismo Casa Scola
Our agriturismo is in Gragnano in the province of Naples. The farmhouse is located in the backcountry of the ancient Republic of Amalfi, a wonderful area characterized by tranquillity and naturalistic landscapes. The farmstead, dating back to 1400, has been recently restored and it still respects the features of the original architecture. It offers a wonderful scenic view on the seaside and the Vesuvio. The little tower that stands out over the farmstead and the thickness of the walls let suppose that the building was an element of a defensive system that included the Castle of Pino, the Tower of the Massi and the Castle of Lettere.
Farm
Our farmhouse is in the context of an agricultural farm that produces grapes, red wine Gragnano DOC, white wine, extra virgin olive oil, typical citrus, nuts and vegetables. Moreover, we breed poultry and rabbits. Gragnano is famous for a typical pasta, delicious with the local condiments. The farm's aim is to offer delicious products whose cultivation respects the environment and the health of our guests. At the farmhouse you can organize interesting tastings in the pursuit of local recipes and genuine ingredients.
Restaurant
The restaurant hall creates a comfortable atmosphere thanks to the cozy fireplace, ideal to heat the coldest days in winter. The cuisine offers delicious dishes based on the products of the farm that guarantee genuineness and quality. It is even possible to have lunch on the terrace, surrounded by the nature.
Surroundings
Our farmhouse is in Gragnano, in the peninsula of Sorrento, a few minutes from the seaside and the Vesuvio. The strategic position allows the guests to easily reach different wonderful towns in Campania as Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi. History lovers can visit Pompei, renowned in all over the world for the archaeological sites of ancient Rome. At only 4 km from the farmhouse there is the railroad station of Castellammare di Stabia that connects other interesting destinations as Ercolano Scavi, Napoli and Piano di Sorrento.
