Our residence is in Palaia near Pisa, located within the suggestive hamlet of Alica that was built during the Etruscan period. Starting from the house it is possible to reach in nearly 30 minutes the Tyrrhenian coasts, renowned thermal sites and wonderful art towns as San Gimignano, Lucca and Volterra. Moreover, our territory is famous for the enogastronomic specialities, extra virgin oils and some of the most important wines of the whole Tuscany.
Swimming Pool
The residence is a suggestive hamlet composed of ancient buildings dating back to the XV century that still maintain the original atmosphere. At the guests disposal a wonderful swimming pool that offers a splendid panoramic view on the hills of the Valdera. The pool is the ideal place where to relax and sunbathe during the sunny days.
The Estate
The residence is located within an estate of 15000 mq of land cultivated at vineyards, and olive groves. The territory of the farm is particularly appropriate for the production of high quality wines. Near the main house there is even a little wine shop that faces on the pool. It is the ideal place where to taste the delicious wines of our production. Our guests can even organize pleasant walks along the paths that cross the estate, among fruit trees and vineyards.
Alica and Surroundings
Alica was founded by the Etruscan and nowadays still offers to the tourists precious historic heritages. The church, built around the 1000 b.C., dominates the Valdera and the suggestive castle. Our territory is very interesting and it offers different opportunities even for bycicle lovers, indeed you can reach by bike Lari, Vicopisano, Terricciola and Casciana Terme. Moreover, near the residence there is Palaia, renowned for the panoramic stronghold and other medieval hamlets as Montefoscoli and Castelfalfi.
