Agriturismo Tenuta Il Tresto
Our agriturismo is in Poggibonsi in the province of Siena, a little town surrounded by green valleys, olive groves and the vineyards of the renowned Chianti. We are in Tuscany, among medieval towns and historic heritages. The farmhouse is in the context of an agricultural farm that produces high quality wine, extra virgin olive oil, wheat and fruit. At the guests disposal even a spacious hall for at most 50 persons, ideal for meetings and conferences. The agritourism is a strategic starting point for those who love excursions and bike tours. Indeed in our territory it is easy to bump into wonderful wild animals as pheasants, hares and wild boars.
Swimming Pool
At the guests disposal a wonderful swimming pool with panoramic view on the surrounding hills. Those who desire relaxing holidays can even enjoy a solarium area and a spacious garden. Our farmhouse is ideal for children that can play safely in the whole agriturismo, from the playground to the poolside.
Surroundings
Our farmhouse is in Poggibonsi in the province of Siena, in the heart of the Chianti, a renowned territory for the extraordinary red wines. Poggibonsi is at nearly 30 km from Siena. In the province of Siena there are various interesting destinations, ideal for holidays characterized by art, nature and history. Our geographic position allows the guests to reach in a few time wonderful towns as San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Colle Val d'Elsa, Volterra and the most renowned provinces of Tuscany, Florence and Pisa.
Accommmodation and Meeting Room
At the guests disposal eight rooms and four apartments from two to six beds. The apartments, dating back to the XVIII century, has been recently restored respecting the traditional characteristics. On the other hand, the rooms are provided with television, services and private showers. Moreover, the rooms are located within a country villa, an ideal ambience where to find tranquillity and silence. The farmhouse makes available a spacious conference hall for nearly 50 persons. The hall has been obtained from an ancient barn and nowadays it is characterized by bright glass walls that faces on the surrounding hills. You can even organize coffee breaks and breakfasts both in the common hall and in the outdoor areas.
