Agriturismo La Palazzina
Our agriturismo is in Palaia in the province of Pisa. We are in Tuscany, in an ancient villa surrounded by a wonderful countryside. This building, rose at the beginning of the XIX century, is an ideal location for vacations characterized by nature and relaxation. The farmhouse is a few minutes from Palaia, a renowned medieval hamlet, and it is in a strategic position to reach the famous art towns of Pisa and Florence. At the guests disposal comfortable rooms and independent apartments furnished in traditional style. Every apartment has a private external area with table and parasol.
Swimming Pool and Services
The pool is open from May to September, from 9.00 am to 20.00 pm. It covers 15 metres for 1,5m of depth. The swimming pool offers a wonderful scenic view on the Tuscan hills and its access is characterized by a suggestive path among the olive trees. The prices include bed linen, private terrace, barbecue area, swimming pool, private car park, Wi-Fi connection that covers bar and garden, table tennis, mini volley and final cleaning. Moreover, you can ask for additional bed, heating, meals, washing machine, bicycle rent and horse rides. Pets are allowed only within the apartments.
Restaurant
The restaurant of the farmhouse proposes the delicious recipes of Tuscan tradition. At the farm it is possible to taste and buy our extravirgin olive oil and km zero products as wine, cured meats and cheeses, biologic honey, marmalades and more. The agritourism is the ideal location for events, meetings and special occasions.
Surroundings
We suggest you to visit the panoramic stronghold of Palaia and other interesting historic hamlets as Montefoscoli, Castelfalfi and Alica. Alica was founded by the Etruscans and nowadays it still maintains the ancient heritage. The church, built around the 1000 a.C., dominates the Valdera. In the surroundings there are various destinations ideal for cycling holidays, indeed you can reach Lari and its castle, Terricciola, Casciana Terme and Viscopiano, renowned for the town walls designed by Brunelleschi. Moreover, in the vicinities there are various restaurants where to taste the delicious typical recipes of Tuscany.
