Masseria Pagani Resort
Our resort is a traditional manor farm dating back to the 1400, an oesis of relax in the territory of Nardò, a suggestive town that faces on the Ionian Sea. Nardò is in the province of Lecce, in the southern Puglia. Our manor farm has been restored maintaining the original characteristic, a cozy ambience with a central courtyard that connects the various housing units. The complex originally included the manor house, the farmers accommodation, the stables and the harvest depots. We are an ideal starting point to reache the variegated destinations in the whole region.
Swimming Pool
Our swimming pool is surrounded by suggestive ancient walls that date back to the XXVI century. We make even available a little pool for children. The design and the caribbean shades create a perfect mix for a relaxing and fresh ambience. Moreover, the salty water adds a personality touch that makes our pool unique. It is an ideal place where to awake in tranquillity, spend pleasant moments of company or organize delicious tastings. At the guests disposal sunbeds, loungers and parasols.
Breakfast and Tastings
Every morning we serve a rich breakfast based on cakes, sweets or salty products, everyone obtained with local ingredients. You can taste homemade marmalades, biologic fruits, high quality cheeses, bread, cereals and yogurt. On request we can prepare gluten-free recipes. Moreover, it is even possible to organize happy hours or tastings with the typical dishes of the region. This events take place in the courtyard or in the garden, at the poolside or, in winter, in a spacious inner hall with fireplace.
Activities
"Masseria Pagani" proposes the guests various activities, both within the manor farm and in the vicinities. You can organize excursions and enogastronomic tours, cooking classes and didactic experience, it is certainly interesting to learn how to prepare the mozzarella and assist at the vine harvest. Folklore lovers can ask for "pizzica" lessons, a funny traditional dance. Moreover, it is easy to reach Gallipoli and visits the fish market where to buy the ingredients for delicious grilled fish.
