Santo Stefano dei Cavalli
Our holiday home is in Agnone in the province of Isernia. Santo Stefano dei Cavalli is a rural village on a panoramic hillock 3 km from Agnone at 840 m. slm, in the green and uncontaminated heart of the High Molise, from which the snowy mountains of Capracotta dominate, the laughing valley of the Verrino river and the rocky group of Pietrabbondante. It is a property of about 15,000 square meters dedicated to Appaloosa horse breeding. It consists of a main house where the family lives, two stone cottages and one in wood used for rural hospitality. Place of unusual beauty and tranquility, it is the ideal place to spend a holiday in the name of serenity and rest.
Swimming Pool and Activities
The rural village offers guests various opportunities for enjoying their free time, such as the swimming pool, darts and table tennis. In the Farmhouse there is also a stable that houses twelve horses, a saddlery and a large aviary where the most beautiful species of parrots live, unique in the whole of Molise. The rural houses also have a green area equipped with swings and hammocks. Santo Stefano dei Cavalli is also a famous breeding of Appaloosa horses located in the green and uncontaminated heart of the Alto Molise.
Agnone
The city of Agnone is located at 840 meters above sea level. The countryside surrounding the city varies from 370 meters in the lower part of the Verrino river to 1386 meters on Monte Castelbarone and is crossed by the Sente and Verrino rivers, as well as numerous streams. Due to its geographical position it is considered the capital of Alto Molise. Agnone has a territorial extension of 9630 hectares, partly covered by high vegetation and partly used for pastoralism and arable land. The town and surroundings of Agnone are located in the heart of the primitive Sannio and therefore are the center of important archaeological finds.

The rooms are all pleasantly rustic with stone walls, wooden ceilings and terracotta floors. The furniture gives the apartments the warmth of the old country houses.
