Our bed and breakfast is in Agnone in the province of Isernia. We are in the countryside of a small and beautiful art village nestled in the mountains of upper Molise. The farmhouse, completely restored, is composed of two stone houses of the early twentieth century and stands in the quiet countryside of Agnone, located on a rock that cuts the valley of the Verrino River, where medieval houses are connected in a wall uninterrupted from which protrude panoramas of churches, ramparts and bell towers. The structure offers hospitality and services in a simple way in the undisturbed green of a landscape to be discovered made of colors, sounds and scents of nature.
Services
The company is located in a rural area with aromas of lavender, pines, walnuts, oleanders and rosemary. It is a typical peasant house of the beginning of the century and recently restored to tourist accommodation, preserving the masonry and the stone vaults. From the stone houses of the farmhouse 5 apartments have been created with kitchen use, independent heating, fireplace and barbecue, digital TV, bicycles for guests, equipped outdoor area. At guests' disposal also an organic garden and a small farm whose mascot is a docile donkey named Giusy. On request it is possible to taste a dinner based on typical local products.
Breakfast and Restaurant
We serve a rich Italian breakfast buffet with various typical and organic products which is usually served in the common room or in the apartment. In summer, if the weather permits, it is served on the outdoor veranda. Breakfast is usually included in the price, except when specified that the price refers only to overnight stay without breakfast. Upon reservation and for a minimum number of 4 people we organize dinners based on local products by agreeing on menus and in the price. The restaurant is reserved for guests only.
What to Visit
Nearby you can visit a water mill and go trekking and walking along the sheep tracks and nature trails. To see in Agnone the ancient Venetian village, the museums, the ancient artisan shops, the library and the churches rich in art, history and culture. Not to be missed in the surroundings are beautiful places of artistic and naturalistic interest such as Capracotta, San Pietro Avellana, Pescopennataro, Pietrabbondante, Rosello and Castiglione Messer Marino.
