Our farmhouse is in Villagrande Strisaili in the province of Ogliastra. We are in Sardinia, at the foot of the Gennargentu, in one of the most beautiful sea areas a few km from the white beaches of Eastern Sardinia. Villagrande is a pretty village in the heart of Ogliastra, an area in the central-eastern part of Sardinia. It enjoys a happy geographical position, perched on the mountains, about 700 m. above sea level. and a few minutes drive from the magnificent beaches and coves of the east coast. The farm is in the open countryside, in the hills between Villagrande, Tortoli and Arbatax and offers hospitality in air-conditioned rooms.

Restaurant
The menu of our restaurant offers the delicacies of the typical Ogliastrina and Sardinian cuisine. Appetizers based on Villagrande ham and vegetables and cheeses, prepared according to tradition. We offer culurgiones, gathulis and other typical handcrafted dishes. Other dishes include spit roasts such as porceddu presented on a bed of myrtle, an aromatic plant from which the famous liqueur is obtained, present at the end of each typical lunch or dinner. You can also taste lamb, goat and wild boar, accompanied by the excellent Cannonau wine, elixir of longevity. All dishes are prepared with imagination and creativity using only our products such as vegetables, organic fruit, milk, eggs, cheeses and meat from our farm.

Activities, Sports and Children
Our farmhouse is also the ideal place to spend a day at the beach or in the mountains. Many opportunities for fans of hiking on foot, by bike or off-road for those who love the outdoors. The property collaborates with various excursion companies. Those who do not want to go to the beach can go for walks in the vicinity and enjoy breathtaking views. Do you want to go trekking in the mountains or take a windsurfing course at the sea? Thanks to its ideal position between the sea and the rocky hills, you can carry out various sports activities and organize excursions and trekking to discover nature and the territory. But the possibilities of fun are not only for sportsmen, but also for families with children with trips to the sea and visits to the farm animals.

Territory and Surroundings
The village of Villagrande is very characteristic because it is rich in climbs, narrow and winding streets that still retain the original pavement and where you happen to come across some spring. The center is well cared for with granite paving that paves the main via Roma. The exposed contones on the walls of many houses are granite. The entrance columns and main balcony of the town hall are granite. A touch of color here and there is given by the murals depicting scenes from the traditional local life. The suggestive panorama that opens towards the Gulf of Arbatax offers mountains, woods, cultivated countryside and the splendid sea which is within walking distance of the farmhouse.

Rooms
The farmhouse can accommodate up to 14 people divided into 5 air-conditioned rooms with their own bathroom, one of which is used for the disabled. The rooms are double, triple and quadruple and all have a bathroom with shower and all the necessary amenities to make you feel at ease, as if you were at home.
