Country House Casco dell'Acqua
Our country house is located in Matigge, a hamlet of Trevi located along the course of the Clitunno river, in the province of Perugia. We are a holiday home in Umbria with apartments, swimming pool and various services for adults and children. The structure is a typical farmhouse dating back to a fifteen hectare farm. The house has been restored according to the principles of bio-architecture, designed with a simple and refined design and is ideal for both couples and families with children. The entrance to the country house is a lovely bridge over the river.
Swimming Pool and Services
A splendid salt-water swimming pool is available for guests to relax and refresh during the summer days. The swimming pool has umbrellas and deck chairs with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside and the hills of Montefalco and Trevi. In the green lawn of our large garden you will find, in the shade of majestic poplars, a play area where your children can have fun in complete safety. The playground has two slides, two swings, a climbing wall and a nice little house for the little ones. We also rent mountain bikes to discover nature and enchanting villages.
Restaurant and Cuisine
Our restaurant uses only typical products and genuine and quality raw materials. The kitchen offers homemade bread, pasta and desserts, cheeses and dairy products, raw ham, honey and DOP extra virgin olive oil, organic jams and selected meats. Meals are accompanied by the best wines of Umbria such as Sagrantino and Rosso di Montefalco. From March to November you can participate in pleasant tastings, visits to cellars and oil mills, take cooking classes and buy our typical products.
Activities
Our country house offers many activities in the name of nature, sport and food and wine. We offer vouchers to visit wineries with excellent wine tastings. We organize cooking classes to learn the art of preparing an exquisite homemade pasta. In the vicinity of our country house, those who love sports can experience clay pigeon shooting, sport fishing, horseback riding and nature excursions. Starting from our facility, bicycle enthusiasts can follow a cycle path that connects Assisi to Spoleto through the Umbrian Valley.

We are about 45 km from Perugia and ideally located to visit the most beautiful towns of Umbria such as Foligno, Spello, Spoleto, Assisi, Bevagna and Montefalco. A short distance from the structure, between Trevi and Campello, there are the sources of the river, a place of great naturalistic interest. It is a set of springs that give rise to a natural lake. Not far away is the Tempietto del Clitunnio, also known as the church of S. Salvatore, an ancient building of early Christian origin. In the surroundings you will also find numerous routes for mountain biking, trekking and horse riding. A wellness center is only three km from the country house.

We have six apartments including a studio apartment, three two-room apartments, one of which is accessible to the disabled, and a three-room apartment. Furnished with simplicity and refinement, we have tried to create a comfortable and relaxing environment in harmony with the surrounding nature. Our country house is characterized by details such as the natural water-based decorative paints on the walls, the terracotta flooring treated with natural wax and the essential oak solid wood furniture.
