Agriturismo San Cristoforo
Our farmhouse is located in the municipality of Amelia, in the province of Terni, on top of a gentle hill in the hamlet of Sambucetole. We are in Umbria, in a complex of four farmhouses built around a small church from the 1700s. Our farm produces vegetables, cereals, oil and wine. In some periods of the year you can participate in agricultural activities and participate in the collection of products that you will find in our restaurant. Being sensitive to environmental respect and eco-sustainability we use photovoltaic systems that allow us to obtain electricity, water for irrigation and for heating.
Swimming Pool and Services
At guests' disposal a panoramic swimming pool of 7x14 meters. The splendid landscapes of the valley offer wonderful views of the Apennines and on the clearest days you can even see the Gran Sasso. The swimming pool is equipped with sun loungers and gazebos, and during the beautiful summer evenings, there is the possibility of setting up poolside tables. In the large outdoor areas we have also dedicated an area for campers. Here on the farm you can play sports in nature such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing, rafting and parachuting that you can play on site or in the immediate vicinity.
Restaurant
Our restaurant is based on genuine family cuisine that follows traditions and offers typical dishes with the exclusive use of organic products from our company. You will also have the opportunity to taste the proposals of our kitchen also for special events or receptions. Our structure is in fact an ideal location for weddings or business meetings because we have a large indoor lounge and spacious outdoor areas with poolside gazebo.
Surroundings
Our farmhouse is in Sambucetole, a fraction of Amelia in the province of Terni, a short distance from the splendid towns of Todi and Spoleto and a few minutes from the border with Lazio. In the province of Terni there are many places of unspoiled nature and very interesting places to visit. Trekking routes, mountain bike trails and itineraries for motorcyclists are just some examples of what we can recommend. Some of the most interesting and easily accessible places in the area are Norcia, Assisi, Spello, Narni and Orvieto. Nature lovers can visit the Marmore waterfalls, Lake Bolsena and Corbara, Valnerina and the Tiber Valley.
