Agriturismo San Basilio
The Agriturismo San Basilio is a real oasis of well-being in Salento in the province of Salerno. We are in Campania and we are located a few kilometers from Vallo della Lucania in a place immersed in the green hills of Cilento and near the sea. In our farmhouse we welcome our guests in respect of the most authentic rural tradition for a magical holiday away from the stress and bustle of the city.

Swimming Pool
The large swimming pool of San Basilio is reserved exclusively for guests staying on the farm. Surrounded by a large lawn with breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea, it is ideal for a pleasant relaxation, for a swim before breakfast and also for organizing a nice romantic dinner by the pool.

Restaurant
An important feature of San Basilio is good food. In our restaurant you will have the opportunity to taste products at Km 0, organic and of our production. We also produce cured meats, cheeses, jams, oil and many other products that can be purchased directly from the company.

Activities and Services
Our farmhouse is the ideal location to welcome and organize corporate events and meetings. For those who want to enrich their holiday with fantastic experiences, San Basilio organizes activities for all needs. Horseback riding tours, boat trips, cooking school and trekking. We are 2 km from the Vallo della Lucania train station and our staff can pick you up free of charge. It is also possible to book and buy transfers to the Naples airport and Salerno railway station.

Didactic Farm
The San Basilio farmhouse is part of a family-run farm. The company covers about 20 hectares of Mediterranean scrub among olive groves, vineyards, vegetable fields and orchards. We raise cattle, sheep, goats and poultry and produce cheese, fruit and vegetables and products related to beekeeping. Our educational farm is a unique experience to live and some of the activities that can be carried out are the harvest of olives and vegetables, the grape harvest, milking, the production of cheese and the processing of bread, pasta, sweets and salami.

What to visit
Cilento is a land of culture, nature and gastronomic delicacies. The San Basilio farmhouse is in an ideal position to quickly reach the archaeological sites of Velia and Paestum and well-known tourist resorts such as Ascea, Casalvelino and Palinuro. Salento is known as the "Country of Poetry" where every year, on the legendary night of San Lorenzo, the "Cilento Poesia" National Award is held, dedicated to the greatest contemporary poets who have been staying with us for years, in the historic "Giovanni Pascoli" room.

Rooms
The farmhouse, a typical country building in Cilento, offers its guests 12 rooms furnished in a rustic style and equipped with every comfort. The accommodations are also suitable for medium and long-term stays and can also accommodate people with mobility problems. In San Basilio only small dogs and cats are accepted.
