Agriturismo Baglio Vecchio
The farmhouse, dating back to the 18th century, has been recently renovated with the utmost attention and is immersed in the enchanting Sicilian countryside. It harmoniously combines the typical characteristics of the rural environment with accurate service. The agritourism has ten elegant rooms, five apartments and a restaurant. Outside the ancient walls of the structure, all the beauties of the estate can be seen: expanses of centuries-old olive trees, ancient vineyards and a thick forest of about 11 hectares. A naturalistic mix that offers a Mediterranean climate with a sweetness that remains intact in all seasons. At guests' disposal there is also an elegant swimming pool, table tennis, a bowling alley and bicycles that can be used for excursions.
Pool and Activities
The farmhouse offers its guests an elegant swimming pool, where you can enjoy the famous Sicilian sun and a comfortable whirlpool, a ping-pong table, a bowling alley and a children's play area. Baglio Vecchio also offers the possibility of enjoying the naturalistic beauties of its "reserve": a forest of about 11 hectares with tall trees such as oaks, elms, olive trees, carob trees, pistachios with undergrowth of characteristic Mediterranean scrub. The visitor can discover the paths inside the estate by following them on foot, by bicycle, by car or with an ancient and characteristic tractor and can watch the grape harvest, the olive harvest and all the other agricultural activities.
Restaurant and Tastings
Our restaurant is the place of the authentic flavors of the past, where it is possible to taste the delights that are obtained from the earth and from the work of man. We offer delicious typical dishes of Sicilian cuisine, prepared using genuine and above all "zero kilometer" products grown within the Tenuta Zangara farm and other nearby realities. Among the typical delicacies offered by the estate are the precious oil, the famous sun-dried tomatoes, green olive paté, olives and renowned local wines. In the company we organize tastings of our products and in particular of the fantastic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tenuta Zangara.

For those who want to know and visit the beauties offered by the surrounding area, there is the possibility of quickly reaching all the most important tourist destinations in Sicily. From the ancient ruins of Selinunte, Segesta and Mothia, to the splendid blue waters of the Egadi islands, passing through the evocative scenery of the salt pans, windmills and ancient Erice.

The ideal habitat to forget the frenetic pace of everyday life in environments dedicated to rest and relaxation and immersed in silence and peace. We have 10 elegant and spacious rooms for a total of 24 beds. Each room, soberly furnished with family furniture, is equipped with all the most modern comforts. A room accessible to people with disabilities is also available. All rooms have independent air conditioning, satellite television, Wi-Fi, telephone and private bathroom.

For a more independent solution, Baglio Vecchio offers guests the possibility of staying in welcoming apartments. An apartment of about 60 square meters. for 6/8 people which consists of a kitchen, two bathrooms, two large bedrooms and two large terraces. Two other apartments can accommodate up to 4 people, each with a living room-kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and two splendid terraces. And finally, two communicating apartments that can accommodate up to 3 people each with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and two large terraces. All apartments have independent air conditioning, satellite television, Wi-Fi, telephone and private bathroom.
