Agriturismo Chiorri
The Chiorri farmhouse is a 19th century country house characterized by the architecture of ancient Umbrian farmhouses. A place rich in art and history ideal for a holiday in contact with nature to discover tastes, peasant traditions and the world of wine. We offer a stay with tastings, tours of the cellar, cooking and wine-food pairing courses and various experiences within our vineyards.
Pool and Services
We have a swimming pool equipped with exclusive access for our guests and a spacious outdoor terrace from which you can admire the splendid Tiber Valley from Assisi to Deruta to Todi and a play area for children.
Winery
We have twenty-five hectares of vineyards and our vines are located on hilly terrain with optimal exposure to the sun from dawn to dusk. Among the vines we grow for white wines are native varieties of the area such as Grechetto, Malvasia and Pinot Grigio, while for reds we have Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Thanks to the qualitative characteristics of our production, Chiorri wines are all with Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC) of the Colli Perugini and with Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) of Umbria.
Tastings and Cooking Classes
We offer tastings in the greenery of the Colli Perugini where you can retain the colors, scents and flavors while sipping a good glass of wine on the terrace admiring our vineyards. For those looking for something different from the usual we offer our cooking classes to learn and discover new things, having fun preparing typical dishes with local scents, flavors and products and experimenting together how to pair them perfectly with the right wine.

In our agriturismo you can learn about the fascinating journey from grapes to a glass of wine. You can experience half days of life in the cellar, trying out first-hand some of the activities such as harvesting, sampling, pruning and all the other stages of processing, depending on the time of year. We like to involve children and allow them to experience the wonders of nature first-hand. We organize workshops, laboratories and days dedicated to specific activities, such as during the grape harvest, to learn about the cycle of transformation of grapes into wine, also in collaboration with local schools.
